The first member of the Reis family for whom we have information on is Moritz \/ Maurice Reis and a page on him can be viewed HERE<\/a>. The family changed its name from Koeppel \/ Koppel to Reis which has been the cause of some confusion. Below, Jonas Reis<\/a> who married Marian Samuel the daughter of Moses Samuel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                        1. Derek Peter Gortmans was born in 1923 at 102 City Road, London, the eldest son of Constance Rita (Reis) and Godefridus Laurentius Gortmans. He married ? in 1945;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                        2. Neville Alfred Gortmans was born in 1925 at 70 Sinclair Road, Kensington, London. He married Lillian Ada Crow (Joy) on 8 September 1945 at Ingatestone Chapel, Essex.  Joy was born on 12 May 1920 in Bromsgrove, Birmingham, the daughter of Violet (Rolf) and Edward Crow. She died on 25 February 2002 in Christchurch Hospital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                        3. Dennis Gortmans was born in 1931 in Amsterdam, Holland. He married Aloisia Kerschagel on 1 June 1957 at the Hammersmith Registry Office.  Dennis died on 4 March 1991 at Luton, Bedfordshire. Aloisia was born on 17 April 1924 in Stiermark, Austria, and she died on 24 May 1991 in Luton.  Their children are still living.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                        4. Carole Marie (1946 \u2013     ).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                                          Audrey Phyllis Reis (1901 \u2013  1954) and Barnet Libbish (    \u2013 1969) had three children that belong to this generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                          The children of Spencer Mortimer Reis (1902 \u2013 1983) and Mary Geraldine Boot (1906 \u2013   ) are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
