This occurred at about the time the first member of the Samuel family was raised to the peerage namely Montagu Samuel who became <a href=\"http:\/\/reiswolfesamuel.org\/?page_id=319\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"319\">Samuel Montagu, 1st Baron Swaythling<\/a>.
