Gerald Samuel Montagu

Gerald Samuel Montagu was born on 29 September 1880 at 96 Lancaster Gate, Hyde Park, London. He was the son of Samuel Montagu, 1st Baron Swaythling and Ellen (Cohen) Montagu, Baroness Swaythling.

He married Florence Castello on 2 February 1909. Florence was born on 7th September 1889 at 66 Gloucester Terrace, London, and died on 20th February. She was the daughter of Percy Manuel Castello and Edith Miriam de Castro.

The children of Gerald and Florence were Ina Miriam and Bryan de Castro Samuel Montagu.

CROWING COCKERELS

Mr. Justice Greaves-Lord, in the King’s Bench Division to-day, granted an injunction at the claim of Mr. John Albert Leeman, of Thorpe Cottage, Thorpe. Surrey, who claimed an injunction restraining the Hon. Gerald Samuel Montagu, owner of a poultry farm at Egham, from continuing an alleged nuisance created by cockerel crowing. The injunction was suspended for one month.
